Basic Qualifications

Technical College Degree or Qualified Technical Diploma.
Experience in mission critical environment with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Proficient in technical verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Able to prioritize in complex, fastpaced environment
Oversee the daytoday operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a data center.
Act as an escalation point for all facilitiesrelated issues within the data center, escalating to the Data Center Facility Manager as needed.
Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analysis, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility operations and maintenance.
Create and deploy new standard practices for Engineering Operations Technicians, Chief Engineers, and vendor support teams.
Data Center capacity planning and reporting.
Provide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians.
Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to by vendor and Amazon staff.
Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analysis, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility operations and maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in management of vendors/contractors performing construction, maintenance and upgrading works in largescale critical environment.
An excellent understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment, including but not limited to DRUPS, Transformers, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDUs, Chillers, AHUs and CRAC units.
Data Center or Critical facility experience.
Experience in managing engineering staffs
