Job Summary:

The HSE Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective HSE programs across our multiple worksites.

They will work closely with top management and site safety committee to ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies to create a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Implement & Maintain HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits at worksites to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and environmental risks.
  • Conduct and document safety risk assessments for workrelated activities.
  • Coordinate and provide HSE training programs for employees, including new hires and existing staff, to enhance their awareness and understanding of safety practices.
  • Collaborate with managers and supervisors to ensure that HSE requirements are integrated into business plans and activities.
  • Investigate and Report incidents, accidents, nearmisses, and noncompliance issues, and provide recommendations for preventive measures and corrective actions.
  • Monitor and analyse HSE metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and develop action plans accordingly.
  • Stay uptodate with local HSE regulations and industry best practices, and communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular emergency drills and exercises to ensure preparedness and response capability in the event of an incident or emergency.
  • Liaise with government authorities, HSE consultants, Auditors, and relevant external stakeholders to ensure compliance and maintain positive relationships.
  • Promote a safety culture through awareness campaigns, communication channels, and active engagement with employees at all levels.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Indepth knowledge of Singapore HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques, and emergency response procedures.
  • Professional certifications such as WSH, ISO 45001, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive approach to problemsolving and a demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$4, $6,000.00 per month
