Business Development, Senior Assistant - Alternative Channel to join our team in the Singapore office.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role

Responsibilities

Grow a profitable portfolio business
Manage renewal portfolio and identify and develop new business pipeline in the target segments
Meets and exceeds financial plans
Proactively develop and strengthen client relationships to expand business opportunities on Intermediary Segment.
Maintains regular contact with agents/ partners. Maintains a high market profile and good client relationships
Work closely with Channel Lead to form and implement sales strategies with clear action plan
Work across functional teams in development and execution of business
Ready to undertake additional tasks and projects in support of overall objectives of Business Distribution Team
Advocate Liberty's mission and vision and build our reputation in local market

Requirements:

Diploma/ Bachelor's degree with experience in business development or underwriting roles especially on managing insurance schemes/ alternative channel partnerships.
Good knowledge of Singapore General Insurance market.
Track record of developing portfolio
Ability to work independently, efficiently and under pressure in fast changing environment
Ability to navigating ambiguity and adapting to changes
Good decisionmaking skills and can effectively interact with people internally and externally
Proven strategic, analytical & problemsolving skills
Result oriented, selfmotivated, strong sense of ownership
Advocate growth mindset and "can do" attitude
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
