Description

The Senior Desktop Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware and software across multiple locations.

This role is a 12-month contract with the possibility of renewal, requiring strong communication skills and expertise in desktop engineering.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Situated on site at customer's premise to provide IT support for end users
Provide technical support for all end users devices such as laptops, desktops, mobile devices printers, and approved software
Provide IT support for events if required
Facilitate and provide technical / event support for the classroom, Lab, meeting room and other areas that have Audio Visual System.
To oversee the daytoday teaching facility operations, which include loan of portable devices, accessory and supplying of consumable items such as battery for wireless mic.
To attend, assist, response and resolve user requests on problem and operation of Audio-Visual system.
Operate videoconferencing / teleconferencing equipment for executive presentations and meetings.
Act as a liaison with Level 2 AV Team for troubleshooting / fault rectifications.
Responsible for any audio / visualrelated duty, including scheduling, enduser coordination and training, troubleshooting, repairing and installing AV equipment.
