With 25 offices in Asia, BGA staff provide services to clients in 28 markets across the region. We seek a talented, highly motivated
_Director of Asia Office Management_ to join our Operations Team.

Position Responsibilities

Manage BGA Asia office establishment, including:

  • Work with the COO to establish priority order for opening new BGA offices overseas.
  • Research and vet legal counsel, accounting and tax requirements, and local compliance requirements in each country to bring offices online.
  • Manage budget for the setup of all foreign offices.
  • Work with country managers to identify office needs for establishment (i.e. rental space, required staff, office budget, etc.).
  • Develop all required templates associated with legal establishment, including:
  • Employee contracts;
  • Employee handbooks;
  • Nondisclosure agreements (for employees and third parties);
  • Personal data protection notices & consent;
  • Local independent contractor agreements;
  • Other BGA policies and documents as required.
  • Open bank accounts to facilitate capital injection for new BGA offices overseas.
  • Work with Asiabased teams to identify appropriate office space and requirements.
  • Work with Asiabased and US accountants and the COO to determine and execute appropriate transfer pricing structure.
  • Compile all official documentation required by local governments and US State Department and Embassy clearance related to the office opening.
  • Work with our Contracts team to ensure alignment of terms and policies as it relates to billing and taxation issues.

Ongoing management of BGA offices in Asia, including:

  • Oversee annual and semi-annual statutory filings including audits and tax returns for overseas offices.
  • Manage annual overseas office budget and ongoing projections and performance metrics of overseas offices.
  • Communicate with managing directors to review metrics and financial projections, and address ongoing budgetary needs.
  • Conduct an annual review of all templates to ensure ongoing compliance with legal, policy and accounting and tax requirements.
  • Work with Head of Contracts and Head of Finance to ratify interBGA transfer pricing agreements.
  • Other duties as required.
Job Requirements


Qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite is required; proficiency in Salesforce, Tallie, and Bamboo is a plus; enthusiasm for and ability to learn and adopt new technologies is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in international relations, accounting, business, operations or similar field required;.
  • 7+ years in accounting or project management, corporate operations and administration, or similar fields with knowledge of financial accounting and taxes.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills required.
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Expertise, experience and/or strong interest in Asia, and willingness to travel in Asia.
  • Selfdriven, with an ability to work both independently and with crossfunctional team members, and outside accounting and legal advisors.
