Position Summary
The Head of Commercial and (Co)Owned Retail, Singapore is a key member of the SEAPAC leadership team and is responsible and accountable for the Commercial and Customers Strategy vision, and its best-in-class execution and delivery of, in priority the commercial objectives and Brand presentation / impact at on

Job Description:


  • Accountable for Singapore's top line performance in Wholesale (On and Off Trade channels) and (Co)Owned Retail in accordance with annual customer/key account sales plans to deliver the commercial objectives/budget.
  • Responsible for controllable market costs and effective management of resources i.e., T&E spend, selling cost/price support ratio (wholesale), onbudget OVH spends for wholesale and (co)owned retail.
  • Plan, establish and implement the annual sales budget and strategies to meet Company targets for growth, profitability and increase/sustain The Edrington Group's (TEG) market leadership in the competition landscape, leading with The Macallan.
  • Partner with SEAPAC Finance, to maximise grosstonet revenue through effective Commercial strategies such as assortment allocation, channelproduct mix management and optimisation of selling cost/trade investments.
  • Develop strong business relationships with key On and Off Trade customers/accounts to generate demand for TEG portfolio through sound trade investment, trade offers mechanics and outlet contracts management to maximise ROI.
  • Drive bestinclass On and Off Trade Distribution Segmentation and Strategic Visibility execution excellence with The Macallan as primary focus through implementation of key programmes such as Spiritual Home(s) and strategic collaboration with key accounts to continuous elevate the quality of brand execution and distribution.
  • Collaborate closely with Head of Marketing (HOM), private clienteling team (PCRM) and eCommerce in achieving DTC ambitions as part of Singapore market's holistic brand and growth strategy whilst establishing Singapore as market leader for (Co)Owned Retail Excellence and perfected PCRM/HNWIs management via Affinity programme for The Macallan in the region.
Skills and Experience

Minimum 15 years' commercial experience in prestige consumer goods (preferred) or FMCG/ultra-premium wine and spirits categories with minimum 10 years' experience in a leadership/management role.


  • Proven track record in both B2B (wholesalers and distributor management) and B2C management (at least with retail management).

  • Commerce or omni/multiple channel management experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in P&L management, development of longterm view commercial strategy with ROImindset.
  • Understanding of the luxury/prestige consumer goods market in the context of distribution & routetoconsumer strategies in Singapore.
  • Understanding of the wholesale, retail and ontrade dynamics of the wine and spirits landscape in Singapore.
  • Astute commercial acumen and formidable negotiation skills, with strong numerical and analytical aptitude.
  • Proven strong leadership, coaching and inspirational/motivational skills, with collaborative mindset.
