WE ARE LOOKING FOR.....

The role is envisaged to work within the Investments-linked and Pensions Business in partnership with AIA local business units (LBU) and other Group units to undertake Manager Research, product selection and oversight for strategies suitable for the investment-linked and pension business across AIA Group.

Identify suitable best in class managers and strategies as well as develop investment solutions to support the LBU product needs.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment strategies which includes EFM screening, due diligence and ongoing performance analysis to ensure the strategies are properly executed and the performance objectives are met.
Sound knowledge in equities, fixed income, multiasset products, with an understanding of investmentlinked, pensions and mutual fund market trends and movements, as well as ideally a proven ability to identify product trends and to advise in the design of products to meet investor needs
Liaise with EFM's to do preliminary desktop research and provide the specification to Group Investment Asset Class Heads of AIA who will jointly complete the product evaluation and finalization of the EFM/Strategy
Undertake regular performance monitoring and attribution analysis for the sub fund managers.
Regular Review of product providers that are not covered through general accounts, interviews with portfolio managers as necessary
Propose strategy enhancements or replacements where required
Provide oversight in line with MAS outsourcing guidelines
Ensure compliance with AIA's Investment Governance Framework and relevant regulations
Meet EFMs regularly to get new product ideas and industry intelligence
Attend to LBU queries on managers and strategies as well as provide LBUs with recommendations to address potential investment headwinds.
