Role Purpose:
Within the larger Consumer Lines Financial Management team, the position is primarily responsible for the reporting and analysis of International Personal Lines (IPL) Asia Pacific's key business metrics and financial performance across all IPL lines of business, including but not limited to IPL production monitoring, cost/revenue variance analysis, Forecast/ Plan reporting etc.
This position is also required to assist key regional stakeholders on ad-hoc reporting and analysis as well as preparation of presentation materials to senior management and provide business with relevant information/reports to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Performance Management
Manage financial Forecasts, Annual Plan and Strat Plan preparation on Chubb's financial system within deadlines.
Prepare/monitor monthly production, acquisition, losses and expense variance analysis and commentary.
Interface with Regional Finance and country IPL teams with regard to IPL reporting.
Design and build financial templates required for business reporting.
Provide support to local business analysts and act as a regional lead.
Prepare and distribute IPL production and P&L reports to regional heads.
Ensure IPL reports are up-to date and accurate at all time.
Assist with other ad-hoc financial requests from regional/country consumer lines team, regional finance etc.
Prepare presentation materials as required.
Design/Build Dashboards
Design and build NWP/P&L/Claims dashboard in Qlikview, PowerBI, Excel etc. as required by Consumer Lines Management for Production and Portfolio analysis.
Performance improvement initiatives
Identify, analyse & manage regional initiatives to improve IPL business financial performance and optimise COR ratio.
Provide profitability testing & financial projections of new opportunities / new product proposals as required.
Other
Preparation of quarterly SURC meeting schedules.
Maintenance of Meridian product codes/PACPL/Stat Lines for Consumer Lines. Advice countries on appropriate codes to use.
Assist with wider consumer lines (including A&H) financial requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience
5 years of experience in financial reporting, performance management or MIS role.
Experience in insurance industry.
Experience in using / knowledge in relational database such as TM1, MS Excel, MS Access, Cognos, Qlikview, PowerBI is preferred.
Attention to detail, Good analytical skills, ability to communicate and articulate clearly financial concepts and drivers to non-finance audience would be preferred.

Degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration/Statistics/Actuarial
