What the role is
- The officer will be part of a focused and professional team responsible for the delivery of customercentric corporate services within the Ministry.
What you will be working on
- Procurement
- Development and implementation of policies and guidelines for the provision of efficient, valueformoney corporate procurement.
- Administration of the Ministry's procurement activities such as review of procurement proposals and requirement specifications; guiding and advising staff on procurement policies and processes, and managing quotation and tender exercises in GeBIZ.
- Carry out regular business analytics on procurement to ensure compliance, and/or improve and streamline our processes for more effective delivery.
- Development and implementation of policies and guidelines to ensure the function of record management is in compliance with established governance framework.
- Oversee the administration of daytoday records management operations such as review of taxonomy and metadata structure; manage the Ministry's records management systems; and providing advice to staff on records management policies, processes, and systems.
- Oversee the digitisation exercises for the Ministry's records.
- Liaising with the National Archives of Singapore (NAS) and internal divisions on records appraisal, transfer, disposition, and declassification.
- Analyse filing activities to evaluate effectiveness of the Ministry's record management systems and/or improve and streamline our processes for more effective delivery.
- Oversee the administration of official travel arrangement; and providing advice and guidance to staff on travel policies and processes.
- Oversee the administration of daytoday operations for the Ministry's reading list and Official Gifts.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Division Director or Section Head.
What we are looking for
- The officer should be a Singapore citizen with some relevant working experience. The officer should possess good interpersonal, organisational, written and communication skills. The officer is expected to be an independent worker with strong computer literacy and good initiative, as well as a meticulous, selfmotivated, resourceful and committed team player.
