Job Description Summary:
Responsible for the design, maintenance and administration of the Company's Quality System and to work effectively with all functions at all levels to ensure that Quality Systems requirements are understood and adhered to by all.
Also has the responsibility for administering the internal and external quality audit programs and the maintenance of all regulatory approvals.
Essential Responsibilities
- Design, maintain and administer the Company's Quality System.
- Initiating, updating and maintaining QCWIs and other Quality documents as and when required.
- Administer the internal audit programs and when required, engage Operations/Engineering/affected Functions to facilitate and drive robust RCCA in order to eliminate recurrence.
- Facilitate all regulatory/customer audits and work with the affected Functions for a robust RCCA and respond to the Airworthiness Authority/Customer in a timely manner.
- Be in control of the Document Control Center and assure all technical data and records are up to date and that revisions, if any, are distributed to all Process and Product Engineers affected.
- Drive engagement & training of Company's employees in regulatory trainings.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college (or equivalent)
Desired Characteristics
- Minimum 2 years of aerospace experience in repair/manufacturing or a quality assurance role.
- Holds a recognized Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification
- Knowledge of Quality Systems/ISO/Aerospace Standards.
- Possess CAAS Air Legislation paper.
- Knowledge of basic engineering and aircraft engine component repair.
- Good auditing experience.
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Basic knowledge of PC software.
- Good initiative and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrate oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
