DESIGNATION :
Assistant Manager, Communications and Talent Development


RESPONSIBILITIES
This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to further their career in communications and talent development. You will be working within a large multinational organisation and have two focus areas for your role. The first is to support internal and external communications projects.

The second is to work on global projects that are linked to talent development and the boosting of employee experiences.

In this role you will work in a fast paced, global, and high performing team culture. We work hard but we like to have fun too


You will get involved with the following types of activity:

  • Updating our corporate websites
  • Content planning for LinkedIn pages
  • Supporting internal communications activity e.g. company intranet and our internal social medial platform
  • Helping to prepare corporate publications (e.g. World Horizon and the Sustainability Report)
  • Supporting the design and delivery of groupwide leadership development programmes
  • Supporting the design and delivery of culture enhancing initiatives
  • Supporting training on diversity, inclusion and belonging
  • Supporting employee wellbeing programmes

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Drafting/coordinating communication pieces for company publications/ social media
  • Updating company website, intranet, and our internal social media platform
  • Drafting content/ content creation/ management for social media platforms
  • Updating mailing/ distribution lists for corporate publications
  • Organising and scheduling inperson and virtual training or companywide events
  • Liaising with participants across development programmes
  • Liaising with multiple external communication and employee development vendors
  • Managing the payment processes to vendors
  • Overseeing programme budgets
  • Creating training programme collateral for participants
  • Other adhoc tasks as appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the below:

  • 3 to 5 years of corporate experience, in a HR or Communications function
  • Driven and resourceful, with the ability to work independently
  • Good organization skills and high attention to detail
  • Handson, adaptable, and able to multitask across a broad work portfolio
  • Strong cultural awareness and an appreciation of cultural difference
  • Proficient in writing well across various platforms e.g. communication pieces for employees, articles for corporate magazines, contributions to industry publications
  • Proven experience of managing social media platforms like LinkedIn, and have experience with content creation platforms e.g. Canva
  • Proficient with MS Office tools and have a working knowledge of MS Teams
  • Experienced in planning and/or delivering training or development programmes
  • An understanding of how HR and Communications are strategic partners to the business
  • A keen interest to learn and develop your interpersonal and professional capabilities
