Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us in the OCBC Strategic Planning Office to collaborate closely with our partners from across the Group to execute our OCBC Digital Assets Strategy_

Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis: Stay uptodate with the latest trends, news, and developments. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and assess their viability.
Proofofconcept Projects: Design, build and deploy proofofconcepts or prototypes of DLT/blockchain related projects, including for central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), interoperability and integration with other DLT and nonDLT based digital payment systems.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal crossfunctional teams as well as external networks (central banks, peer banks, and private sector). Provide expertise and guidance on digital assetrelated matters to internal partners.
Partnerships and liaison: Serve as key point of contact for external stakeholders. Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Risk Management: Monitor market conditions, regulatory changes, and security threats to mitigate risks effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of financial markets, banking, and risk management principles. Familiarity with blockchain technology is highly desirable.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with changing priorities. Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and communicate complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
