Description
Collaborate with network planners to develop coverage and capacity plans for new and existing networks.

  • Conduct site surveys and assess terrain and environmental factors to identify optimal locations for network infrastructure deployment.
  • Use predictive modeling tools and simulations to estimate coverage areas and identify potential coverage gaps.
  • Propose changes and adjustments to existing network infrastructure to improve coverage and overall network performance.
  • Identify potential areas for base stations, and other network equipment to improve coverage and capacity.
  • Ensure that all necessary permits and regulatory approvals are obtained for network deployment.
  • Perform drive tests using specialized testing equipment to measure network performance, signal strength, and coverage quality.
  • Analyze collected data to identify areas with poor coverage, dropped calls, and data congestion.
  • Recommend network parameter adjustments to improve coverage and reduce interference.
  • Optimize radio frequency parameters, such as transmission power, frequency bands, and antenna tilt, to improve signal coverage and minimize interference.
  • Conduct interference analysis and implement mitigation strategies to enhance network performance.
  • Continuously monitor network performance metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to identify deviations from targets.
  • Generate regular reports and provide insights on network performance and coverage improvements.
  • Assist in planning and executing network expansion projects to meet growing user demands and coverage requirements.
  • Work closely with the network deployment teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation of coverage enhancement projects.
  • Collaborate with Mobile Network operators, including Network Engineers, RF Engineers, and Network Operations, to address coveragerelated issues and optimize network performance.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to troubleshoot coveragerelated customer complaints.

Job Requirement:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless communication principles, cellular technologies (2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G), and Wi-Fi standards.
  • Proficiency in using RF planning and optimization tools, such as Ibwave or similar software.
  • Experience with drive testing equipment and data analysis tools like Nemo, or similar.
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and resolve coveragerelated issues.
  • Effective communication skills to work with crossfunctional teams and present technical findings to nontechnical stakeholders.
