The Company
Our client is one of the leading brokerage house and part of the investment bank group in Asia.

The Role

Responsibilities include: _
Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting business strategic plans
Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and IT resources
Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures and information security and control structures
Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating business requirements and needs
Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective action
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
Ensures all trading platforms conform to regulator's policies, guidelines and notices
Regularly perform review of IT policies and procedures to ensure they conform to the Investment Bank Group objectives
Actively participate in all IT audits to ensure all audit points and issues are addressed timely and appropriately
Approves all business requirements prior to the technical solution
Participates on all hardware and software evaluation and maintains vendor contracts
Perform liaison duties between users, operations, and IT personnel in the area of system design, modification or trouble shooting

Your Profile

At least 15 or more years of progressive IT experience, preferably with experience in a financial sector
Knowledge in trading platform and technologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team of technical staff, to work with the Executive Management of an organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong project management, organizational and time management skills
Excellent problemsolving, analytical and evaluative skills
