    Description

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Technical Superintendent – reporting to Head of Technical and Purchase

    Company / Department

    Skeiron Logistics manages a fleet of 4 heavy lift / multi-purpose vessels and is focused on offering a wide range of ship management services to its customers.

    Primary Responsibilities (2 vessels)

    • Technical management of the assigned Multipurpose Heavy Lift vessels including drydocking.
    • Review of Reports to ensure proper technical running of vessels and identification of risks.
    • Management of 'Defect Lists' to have full control on vessel's condition including identifying new defects and closing existing ones.
    • Management of Inventory Management System (IMS) for supply & consumption of relevant items ensuring vessels are clean of unusable items.
    • Full management of Planned Maintenance System (PMS) to check completion of tasks and adherence to schedules.
    • Management of shore-based requirements and maintaining records of services.
    • Conduct sailing visits to ensure vessel's status, competency of staff, and prepare reports.
    • Interview/evaluate engineers, brief sea staff, liaise with Class/makers/HSE/Crewing/Accounts Department.

    Requirements

    • Shore experience as Technical Superintendent minimum 3 years with extensive 4 stroke Engines work.
    • Experience with heavy lift vessels preferred.
    • Sailing experience as Chief Engineer of minimum 3 years.
    • Diligent, self-starter, result-oriented individual.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer knowledge.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Systematic, methodical, organized & attentive to detail.
    • Good interpersonal skills.
