The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee's buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.


About the Team:


  • The Retail Acquisition team is in charge of developing and offering retail services to Shopee Sellers by identifying service gaps and sellers needs. The team looks to acquire new sellers and brands to take up our retail service which helps to drive the top line growth of our retail business. This role offers a great opportunity for aspiring retail talents to put data analytics skill and critical thinking into daily work, and hone their communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • This role reports to the Retail Acquisition team lead and works closely with the Operations team in Shopee Singapore Retail team.
  • Develop pipeline, source, reach out, negotiate and form partnerships with local sellers and brands to partner Shopee Retail Services
  • Build effective internal processes and downstream flows for incoming sellers and brands to ensure smooth operation and maximum performance growth
  • Work closely with stakeholders, such as legal, finance and operations teams, to ensure successful onboarding of sellers and brands
  • Reach out and negotiate with key brands to partner SCommerce via various retail service offerings
  • Perform regular online / offline competitor analysis to identify key service offering and seller / brand gaps
  • Lead initiatives that improves our retail service offerings, drives innovation and impact in new business areas

Requirements:


  • Interest in developing pipeline, sourcing, negotiating and forming partnerships with sellers and brands
  • Good stakeholder management
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Motivated and have the ability to perform in a dynamic environment
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Track record of consistently meeting and exceeding KPIs
