The Role:

What's the role?

This role will be based in Singapore Jurong Island (SJI).

Operate the process units in accordance to Operating Plan, Daily Operating Instructions, Standing Instructions and Site Health, Safety, Security, Environment procedures
Work with the team to operate the plant within Design-OperatingWindow and the Integrity-OperatingWindow
Upon completion of the training and guidance from team, you will perform the structured rounds and take corrective action to maintain equipment and plant operations within safe operating windows.
Responsible for managing plant and equipment upsets, abnormal conditions and subsequent troubleshooting including incidents/plant emergencies and subsequent followup
Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning and participating in shutdown and startup of units
Help to update the operating procedures and prepare job pack documentation for equipment repair
Keeping log records of operational activities for thorough handover to incoming shifts and sharing plant info with other disciplines of the company
Participating in minor maintenance activities
Perform the role of Auxiliary Fire Fighter if assigned in the event of emergency situations
Operate robotic and automation technologies to perform plant surveillances and inspections
Perform routine field data logging and reporting
Use new data technologies to monitor plant and equipment performance
Carry out/Perform other related duties when required/assigned

What we need from you?

Nitec/Higher Nitec in Chemical Process Technology or Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Chemical & Green Technology / Clean Energy
Strong passion to pursue a career with a forwardlooking and dynamic organization
Team player and keen interest for continual learning
Ability to perform both Shift work and Day work when the need arises
