About the Role

  • Reporting to the Regional Manager
  • Precontracts, the Proposal Engineer is responsible for ensuring detailed tender submissions are compiled in accordance with company procedures for Senior Management Review.
  • Communicate with Operations and Regional Managers in reviewing all aspects of the tender including Construction Methodology, Commercial/Technical Risks and Opportunities, Alternatives, Submission Documentation, Production Rates, Material and Subcontract Enquiries and any Programming Requirements.
  • Facilitate review meetings and work closely with Bid Managers and Estimators to support various bids as assigned.
  • Development of construction plans, including staff, labour, plant histograms.
  • Development of construction schedule for EPC activities.
  • Development of cost estimates in accordance with client requirements.
  • Analysis of RFQs and tender documents.
  • Support tender proposals
  • Writing submission documents.
  • Conduct site visits as and when necessary.
  • 13 month year end bonus

About You
To be considered for the opportunity, you will need the following:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering.
  • Minimum 35 years of project management and or estimating experience.
  • Focused on meeting objectives and timeframes through the use of Company processes.
  • Competent in use of relevant inhouse software.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$5,500.00 per month


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • 13th month salary
