    Roles & Responsibilities

    We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team at our furniture company. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our organization and contributing to its growth. Your responsibilities will include:

    Financial Analysis and Reporting:


    • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.


    • Prepare regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.


    • Conduct variance analysis to track budget versus actual performance and identify areas for improvement.


    • Monitor key financial metrics and provide management with actionable insights.

    Budgeting and Forecasting:


    • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.


    • Collaborate with department heads to gather budget information and ensure alignment with company objectives.
    • Evaluate and track budget performance throughout the year, making adjustments as necessary.

    Cost Management:


    • Analyze product costs, manufacturing expenses, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements within the organization.


    • Monitor inventory levels and advise on inventory management strategies.

    Data Analysis and Tools:


    • Utilize financial software(Xero) and Excel to manipulate and analyze data efficiently.


    • Develop financial models and scenarios to support decision-making.


    • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by management.

    Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.


    • Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in the furniture industry.


    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.


    • Proficiency in financial software, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis tools.


    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis.


    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.


    • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to financial challenges.
