We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an
Associate Director, Business Development.

Principal Responsibilities

Work with the various Lines of Businesses and Functions to develop multistakeholder initiatives to identify, capture and drive opportunities that embody both commercial viability and market positioning/visibility.
Within the Bank, in Singapore and across our network, build robust networks to bridge closer crossLines of Businesses and Functions collaboration
Build expertise knowledge of key thematic trends that would aid HSBC's Singapore strategy especially on fintech ecosystem and digitalisation in Singapore.
Externally, build active networks and explore beneficial partnerships with relevant industry associations (with preference on fintech and tech related coverage) and private sector that benefit HSBC Businesses (and even Functions).
Be a catalyst for change that can think at an enterprise level and engage people across the organization with a collaboration agenda
Be able to create momentum by working on multifaceted projects across departments
Be able to communicate and influence stakeholders to contribute and participate with enthusiasm and energy
Identify key areas of collaboration and track projects to clear and value additive outcomes

Requirements

Bachelor degree with at least ten years' experience in driving opportunities and partnerships in the banking, financial services, fintech/digital space
Energetic individual who inspires others to the mission, cultivates partnerships and uses exceptional interpersonal skills to influence and build consensus
Bring to the role an active network not confined to the financial sector.
Knowledge of key and emerging trends in the fintech, digital and sustainability spaces that are relevant to driving more business
Ability to bring the best out of people with varying objectives and bring them towards shared outcomes
A selfstarter with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and an active network
Motivated to create change and challenge the status quo
Experience and exposure to complex projects a positive attribute for the role
Excellent communication and marketing prowess
Someone who thrives on collaboration and creativity
Ability to lead cultural and behavioural change in a rapidly changing industry
Thrives under pressure work well with constant change and ambiguity
