Description

Responsibilities:

Responsible for designing and performing bench-scale tests and pilot testing related to the company's separation process technology. Some tests may require a rotating shift schedule.

Create and review validation protocols for bench-scale tests and pilot testing activities.

Conduct investigations and resolve any discrepancies identified during bench-scale tests and pilot testing activities

Work collaboratively with process engineers to develop innovative technologies and enhance existing ones.

Collaborate with the sales team to formulate commercialization strategies for new technologies.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to separation processes.

Requirements:

Degree in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or relevant fields.

At least 2 years of analytical testing experience in petrochemical/pharmaceutical/flavor and fragrance environment.

Understanding of the separation processes, including distillation, liquid-liquid extraction, and crystallization.

Having experience in designing and conducting bench-scale tests and pilot testing, as well as expertise in developing and reviewing validation protocols, is considered advantageous.

Having a foundational understanding and experience in analytical chemistry, as well as familiarity with various analytical equipment, is considered advantageous.

Able to conduct Risk Assessment methodologies in Process Safety, including PHA (Process Hazard Analysis), What-ifs, and Change Management.

Salary:
$4,000 to $6,500
