Data Product Manager, Apac Region - Singapore - Mastercard
Description
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage initiatives from inception through successful delivery to impact data and product performance for our APAC customers
- Independently identify and research anomalous performance within the data portfolio and partner with the relevant engineering or data science team to develop solutions
- Deeply understand the products that your data powers and address product issues by debugging data flows, troubleshooting with data providers, and communicating findings with marketfacing teams
- Develop creative solutions to work with nontraditional data partners and data types by partnering with the product and engineering teams
- Serve as a technical expert and share specialist knowledge to crossfunctional teams to advise business partners on APAC datarelated issues
- Manage data sourcing strategy and roadmap to improve data performance while optimizing costs
- Identify, collect, synthesize and communicate risks and blockers in a concise, accurate, and professional manner for senior leadership to ensure alignment based on evolving priorities
Requirements:
- Experience working with data brokers and data vendors in Southeast Asia
- Background in technical product management or adjacent engineering/datafocused role with decisive business outcomes
- Ability to travel for business within Southeast Asia a few times a year
- Clear written and oral communication across the corporate hierarchy
- Experience working with complex data flows and architectures, demonstrating an ability to influence engineering roadmaps to improve products
- Creativity in solving technical and business problems and a desire to explore diverse options to enable revenue growth
- Track record of managing multiple parallel initiatives to drive the overall program strategy
- Extensive experience developing and nurturing relationships, serving as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to incorporate feedback from crossfunctional stakeholders in Legal, Data Privacy, Finance, Product, and Sales to identify the right data partners and prioritize the most impactful projects
- Demonstrated success building relationships and delivering results with global, multicultural, and remote project teams
