**Job Responsibilities:
New Staff/Expat Onboarding

  • Prepare internal hiring approval documents.
  • Prepare employment agreement and other required documents for all new & replacement hirings.
  • Conduct background check and education qualification check on new hires and new expats.
  • Apply/renew Work Pass.
  • Oversee expat housing matters.

General HR Matters

  • Provide employment verification/certification for ex-staff & current staff.
  • Assist in Off-boarding leavers.
  • Compete MOM & MAS regular surveys.
  • Generate & submit HR metric reports.
  • Prepare & roll out Staff Communication.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and MOM/TAFEP guidelines.
  • Conduct annual review of Employee Handbook.
  • Conduct annual fit & proper due diligence check on all staff.

Employee Benefits

Employee medical insurance:
ensure prompt review of annual rates & coverage renewal. Handle all staff enquiries.


  • Other employee benefits (staff leave, health-screening, newborn/marriage gift, festive gift): ensure timely & accurate budget submission to HQ annually and administer these benefits according to the Bank's policy & procedures.

Payroll/Tax Filing

  • Perform payroll calculation/administration including CPF submission.
  • Submit payroll cost center report to our Finance Team.
  • Generate & issue payslips to all staff.
  • Submit NS Pay, Maternity and Childcare leave claims.
  • Submit Expat Income Tax info to Tax Agent for annual IR8A for current expats or IR21 filing for leaving expats.
  • Complete annual IR8A filing annually by 28 Feb for all local staff.
  • Update HR System Management.
  • Upload OT timesheet, check & process overtime pay.

'Job Requirements:


  • Minimum Bachelor degree in HRM, Business, Finance or Accountancy. IHRP certification will be a plus.
2. 5 to 15 years' HR experience and familiar with Singapore labour laws.


  • Proactive, matured, resourceful and self-driven.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous when performing daily work.
  • Tactful, diplomatic and possess good interpersonal skills to handle internal and external communications.
