WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR

Looking to hire a Workshop Supervisor on a full time, permanent basis.

Based at their Facility in Singapore, the Workshop Supervisor is to be responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and supervising the day-to-day activities of the Workshop, controlling the quality of repairs, annual preventative maintenance systems, implementation of HSEQ standards, and performance appraisal of subordinates.

Duties

Plan and supervise the team of technicians in the service, repair, troubleshoot, maintenance and assembly of the company and thirdparty equipment.
Preparation of work order, drawings (assistance from engineers) and all necessary documents to execute the maintenance work on the equipment and adhere to mobilisation requirements.
Lead by example Workshop maintenance activities, including housekeeping, organization, and system maintenance.
Ensure that work on behalf of Company

is executed correctly at optimal time, quality, and costs and with highest standard of safety for all involved employees.

Ongoing improvements on Workshop, Warehouse and QC procedures and processes.
Plan and execute Function Acceptance Tests (FAT) with our customers and internal stakeholders.
Create of service reports for customers upon completion of maintenance and service projects.
Brief technicians on job scopes and safety related matters (toolbox meetings).
Oversee work permits in collaboration with QHSE department and Acteon companies.
Ensure that internal work permits and lifting plans are prepared and adhered to with the relevant personnel.
Document lessons learnt, opportunities for improvement and nonconformances.
File maintenance documents into the relevant systems and update all requisitions in NAV (e.g., Workshop Orders).
Liaise with Procurement and other departments on required parts, spares, and consumables.
Work with Offshore Operations Manager/PEs for offshore manpower planner and utilisation.
Equipment Repair and Maintenance Reporting.
Update Workshop Tracker/Planner and distribute to Operations Manager and GM.

Requirements:

Diploma or bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

-5 or more years' workshop supervisor and planning experience.

Excellent computer literacy/knowledge.
The ability to work with multiple discipline projects and deadlines,
Excellent project management and supervision skills.
Excellent organisational, time management, leadership, and decisionmaking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
