Senior/Lead Technician (Tooling Process & Control)

Responsibilities:


  • Manage the daily operations with Tooling Process & Control and Tooling maintenance team.
  • Responsible for timely calibration, load test of Precision Measuring, Test Equipment (PMTE), Tooling modification and lifting gears.
  • Liaise with vendors on tooling maintenance matters to review reports, discrepancies, and job completion dates etc.
  • Work with the end users to register new TNE, PMTE & LG, changes in maintenance schedule and trigger any corrective actions.
  • Review the OEM tool bulletins for tool changes, modification, and replacement.
  • Liaise with vendors to perform any modification and repair of tools.
  • Update and register new tools in the SAP system.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety requirements by complying to EH&S regulations and policies.
  • Support and participate in EH&S, Quality & CORE activities (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence).

Requirements:


  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any other related disciplines.
  • Experience in tool prints interpretation & basic GD&T knowledge in engine environment is a must.
  • Relevant quality, aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering experience is a plus.
  • Able to display Continuous Improvement competencies.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
  • Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multitask, work under pressure and thrive in a dynamic and fastpaced work environment.
