We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team.

About the Job

The Logistics Operations Specialist is responsible for planning, managing, and evaluating the logistics operations of Evident Singapore to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.

This role also works with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate shipping and delivery schedules for new and existing product.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for receiving of parcels.
Report any incoming nonconformance for insurance related claim. (Photo taking relevant to fulfill the insurance claim criteria).
Liaising with the requestor within internal ESG team for the collection of parcels.
Maintain proper record of parcels handed over to the internal ESG team.
Provide unpack service and segregation of part(s) and equipment(s) for service team.
Follow up with forwarders and couriers on the permit retention and subsidiary certificate.
Verification of the import permit and subsidiary certificate details.
Coordinate with internal staff as well as external vendors and contractors to ensure a smooth flow of goods and services through the supply chain.
Inbound delivery creation for 3PL and perform goods receipt of inventory & assets (direct material) for UBIX office.
Incoming repair commercial invoice validation.
Responsible to determine the feasibility of Dangerous Goods / Special Cargo Acceptance and assess the safety of carriage of such cargoes.
Quarterly Asset Disposal arrangement for E-Waste (complying with NEA requirement).
Provide overpack service for export shipment.
Preparation of Airway Bill (UPS, DHL Express, FedEx).
Contact person for the couriers pick up arrangement (For DHL Express and UPS).
Register all outbound shipments that are released from the outgoing counter to ensure accountability.
Ensure handover record with forwarder/courier during the point of collection (including to retain a copy of the signed document for service team record retention).
Verification of Export Permit details.
Packing for UN3481 Lithium ION Battery packed with/in equipment and UN3091 Lithium Metal Battery packed with/in equipment (Allowable to pack PI 966 Section II and PI 967 Section II) includes documentation attachment and labelling of the cargo.

Formal Qualifications
Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent.

Key Skills / Core Competencies

Excellent communication and relationship building skills to develop trust and credible relationships with stakeholders.
Effective decisionmaking and issue resolution abilities in a pressured environment.
Solid understanding of supply chain operations including warehouse operations, freight, transportation, and import & export process.
Project management and problemsolving skills. Preferably have knowledge on SAP experience in MM/SD/BI module.

Experience

Minimum 35 years' experience in an operational environment with expertise in warehousing and shipping
Experience in managing airfreight and express/courier operations preferred.
