Our Client is a Bank. Currently looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager to support their operation.
- 【 What you will be doing 】

Prepare and review the entire MAS regulatory reporting standards, including MAS 610, 649, 640, 755, 758, QIE, etc.
Provide guidance and review the work done by junior members to ensure that the reports adhere to MAS regulations
Assist with queries from stakeholders both internal and external
Support the department's activities proactively while maintaining a close relationship with other departments
Share own knowledge/skill with subordinates and coworkers and provide advice when necessary.
Assist in preparing and compiling periodic statutory reports, annual financial statements, and tax computation.
Communicate and collaborate with Compliance departments
Any other adhoc duties assigned

Qualifications:

Requirement:

- (Must)

Min 510 years of working experience in the banking sector with strong knowledge of MAS regulations and reports required for banks
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to articulate reporting issues to manager/3rd parties if necessary

(Preferable)- Flexible and adaptable to new environments

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience working in a Japanese company, and understanding Japanese working/company culture
