Executive / Senior Executive (11-month contract), Office of Dean of Students
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administrative Support
- Attend meetings with local and overseas Non-Profit (NPO)/ Community Organisations, Social Service Agencies (SSA) or Social Enterprises (SE), to gain groundup perspectives on community needs and to source and identify suitable volunteering opportunities for the students.
- Maintain and consolidate a database of all available volunteering opportunities which are updated on a regular basis.
- Publicity and Marketing
- Assist with the design, crafting and sending out of volunteer recruitment EDMs to the students.
- Setup / create a story bank containing quotes/ reflections/ stories and information on past and present Community Service Projects/ volunteering activities conducted by the students.
- Assist with the creation of google form for students to enter their reflections/takeaways during project closure.
- Increase the visibility and publicity of community service initiatives by working with internal and external stakeholders to showcase the good work / projects of our students.
- Assist with the design and production of C4SR's marketing collaterals and Tshirts.
- Sustainability Symposium
- Provide support and assist the team with the planning and implementation of Sustainability Symposium in 202
- Other Ad-Hoc Duties
- Conduct surveys with the students' population to identify students' interests and passion (in specific areas of social causes) and pain points in leading/ participating in Community Service Projects.
- Provide possible platforms/ avenue for students to pitch their ideas for Community Service Projects.
- Work on any other adhoc duties and/or projects as assigned by the appointed supervisor.
- Minimum Diploma with 3 years of relevant work experience in the social service/ nonprofit sector.
- Good understanding of the social service landscape / nonprofit sector and having prior experience in stakeholder management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good team player and having exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Selfdriven, resourceful, and adaptable to changes.
- Meticulous, analytical and detail oriented.
- Strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with basic design software e.g. Canva/ Adobe Photoshop would be an added advantage.
