We are Gates.***: We are searching for a Regional Product Line Manager who possesses the ambitious, forward-thinking, and open-minded individuals to join our regional PLM&PMO team to operate effectively in a matrix environment and have confidence in driving aggressive growth plans. THE ROLE
You will own the development and implementation of regional product line strategic plans.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plan and manage proper organizational support for major customer orders as well as resolving backlog situations with Sales & Operations Planning and Operations.
- Continually analyze and interpret customer questions, requirements, or problems.
- Maximum 3 pointers per accountability_
Accountability #1:
Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)
- Conduct market research and analysis of market dynamics (market size, growth rate, market trends, key issues, threats, opportunities) and identify target customers. Conduct Voice of Customer survey via customer calls, customer visit, field investigations.
- Provide clear product value proposition to commercial organization for their upselling to customers / endusers.
- Provide input to global product roadmap based on deep understanding of customer feedback.
Accountability #2:
Process / Performance
- Formulate regional product line strategic plan with approved product objectives for each industry.
- Analyze and drive product key results (Sales, Profitability, Delivery, Quality accident, Availability, Customer retention, Vitality) on regular basis.
- Evaluate sales pipeline and analyze win/loss reason for large opportunities.
Accountability #3:
People
- Maintain current knowledge of products, manufacturing processes and market dynamics.
- Identify and develop industry specialists to enable transition to value selling.
- Communicate industry specific strategies and results to senior management and stakeholders.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an individual contributor role that works with multi discipline team to drive product line management.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- A degree in mechanical engineering is preferred, an additional degree in marketing is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years' related working experience in mechanical power transmission related industry.
- Proven record in driving crossfunctional teams in winning industrial customers.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Possess market research and sales mapping skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills to deliver high quality executiveready presentations.
