Production Technician

Job Summary

Perform all production activities at various stages under cleanroom environment and to work as a team with other manufacturing personnel to achieve production targets in compliance with cGMP, quality and safety requirements.

Handle production tasks and ensures daily target and highest product quality are achieved

Key Responsibilities

Execute tasks strictly following cGMP, Quality, Safety and Work instruction requirements
Meet daily production schedule and performance expectation
Follow safety, quality requirement, and all applicable company policies at all times
Ensure compliance to Data Integrity such that information are attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original and accurate
Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain cleanliness (6S) of the working area.
Carries out other related duties as assigned by the shift team Lead or shift superintendent
Participate in Kaizen project for continuous improvement in manufacturing performance
Perform in process inspection under increased lighting and magnification
Support maintenance activities and perform machine line clearance and simple machine setup
Responsible to ensure own's SOP training, recertification and development plan are completed on time
To operate manufacturing equipment to produce and/or package contact lenses such as autoclave to sterilize contact lenses.
Ensure contact lenses are manufacturing to the best quality level possible.
Perform activities in compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices in a controlled and regulated environment.
To ensure compliance to Data Integrity such that information are attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original and accurate.

Note

Able to work 12 hours rotating shifts (Monthly rotation from day to night shift and vice versa)
The job role require long hours of standing and walking, provide machine coverage during breaks
Proficient in English (read and write)
Able to work OT as and when required
Able to update simple data using computer

Professional Certificate / NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma
