Description
- Experience in Tanker chartering & operation, especially in spot chartering,
- Negotiation of contracts and drafting the related agreements
- Execute spot chartering for Afra / Clean MR tankers, and negotiate renewal of COA contracts and drafting the related agreements
- Manage daytoday operation and coordination of vessels, monitoring vessel performance and reporting
- Schedule and strategize vessels, vessel vetting and nomination, voyage orders and ship operations monitoring
- Handle Vessel operations, vessel vetting, instructions on loading/discharging/ inspections, demurrage management, cargo insurance matters and related troubleshooting; and handle disputes/demurrage/claims
- Liaise with buyers, sellers, shipping brokers, ship owners, terminal operators, joint ventures partners etc to ensure smooth operations, avoid supply disruption and minimise demurrage costs
Requirement
- 3 years of relevant working experience in oil/gas trading company handling tanker chartering related duties
- Good understanding of the various charter parties, commercial contracts, laytime and demurrage
- Experience in Tanker chartering & operation is a must, especially in spot chartering, participation in negotiation of contracts and drafting the related agreements
- Knowledge in oil products quality control (especially light distillates)
