How it works?

Reporting to the Group Head of Operational Risk Management (ORM), you will join and lead one of our high performing divisions aligned Operational Risk Management (ORM) coverage team in Group Risk Management.

The division aligned ORM team is a 2nd Line of Defence (2 LOD) function providing risk and control oversight, review and challenge coverage and support for our key business and support divisions.

Key business divisions
Global Consumer Financial Services, Global Wholesale Bank, Global Markets;

Key support divisions

Group Operations and Technology, Group Finance, Group Legal & Compliance, Group Risk Management and Group Human Resource.

For you to be successful in the role, you must have board experience in Operational Risk Management as well as deep process/ product expertise in the divisions you are covering.

What you do?

You will work with 1st Line of Defense functions of the divisions on a board range of risk matters including ensuring the divisions are operating in a controlled manner, key risks of the division are profiled adequately for senior management, root cause analysis of significant events are conducted, key risks and controls relevant to the business including new product and third party risks are identified, assessed, tested and key regulatory and policy requirements are complied with.

Qualifications

Who you are?

You've got years of experience in a risk and control, audit, or compliance role.
You have deep endto end experience in financial market, retail and/or wholesale banking products and processes.
You're proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Analytical, inquisitive, tenacious. You're a resultsdriven selfstarter, an adept problem solver with strong quantitative skills and comfortable in communications with senior management.
You're a creative mind who's able to synthesize data across different operational risk domains to produce a holistic picture of the division's operational risk profile.
