Our client is a subsidiary of the world's foremost geotechnical specialist engineering contractor and has been established in Singapore since the 1970s.
They are embarking on a transformation of their Management and HR practices and seek an innovative and dynamic HR Team Lead to join them and spearhead this change.
We are looking for a solid HR Leader who can bring new perspectives and innovative practices and adapt them to the Companys engineering environment.
Summary of the role:
Reporting to the Managing Director for Singapore, you will be a key member of the Management team and lead the HR & Admin team to develop and implement effective HR strategies and programs in accordance with business priorities.
- You will work closely with the business to understand their needs and be the catalyst by developing and implementing appropriate employee recruitment and retention strategies, onboarding, talent review, learning & development, succession planning, and employee engagement to support the attainment of business goals.
- You will lead the team in the exciting journey of change to transform by reviewing and optimizing internal processes to enhance efficiency. You will need to show strong skills in change management to bring the whole team forward.
- You will provide coordination, advice and support on HR operational matters, such as payroll, benefits, administration, HR metrics & statistics and develop the team of HR.
You are expected to be people-oriented, forward-thinking and collaborative to contribute to the organisation's ongoing/new projects and efforts to transform HR processes.
- Lead & develop the HR & Admin team of 6 members
- Partner and support key HR programmes and initiatives
- Design and implement change management and transformation projects
- Talent management via People review
- Succession Planning and career development
- Improve employee experience and engagement through different touchpoints and communication channels
- Spearhead adoption of digitalization and data analytics
- Responsible as the company ambassador in employer branding and employee engagement
- Recruitment of talents and ensure smooth and efficient onboarding of employees
- Define the compensations and benefits policy and ensure its consistency
- Learning & Development processes and implementation
- Continuous review of Business needs in terms of skills, sizing of resources, etc
- Payroll management overview
- Bachelor Degree in Business or Equivalent
- Critical thinking
- Leadershp and influencing skills
- Experience leading transformation projects
- Appetite for change management, including stakeholders management
- Positive energy and innovative mindset, solution oriented
