Responsibilities:


  • Analyze trade lanes and capacities based on cargo flows, carrier shares, netachieved costs on respective trade lanes and align capacity planning.
  • Procurement and Negotiation:
  • Negotiate with shipping lines on freight, space, equipment, allocation
  • Support country trade teams with rate inquiries, quotations, and solutions
  • To undertake tender and bidding tasks and ensure its timely and accurate completion/ submission
  • Ownership of carrier contract management and database
  • Driving and monitoring accounts performance commitments to achieve overall
- targets.

  • Support the ocean business administration to increase approved carrier space
- allotment in close cooperation with the Regional Tradelane Managers.

  • Driving and monitoring carrier performance to achieve overall commitment and compliance.
  • Overseeing continuous process improvements and introduce best practices to enhance operational efficiencies and effectiveness in global and regional business.
  • Supports most efficient establishment and execution of all regional and country operational processes based on the corporate SOP's and guidelines.

Requirements:


  • Minimum Diploma in freight management, business studies or equivalent
  • Min 3 years experience in Freight Forwarding
  • Experience in handling regional business
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of business and across cultural / National boundaries.
  • Willingness to travel
