Description
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the project implement team to design and deploy the infrastructure components to a turnkey project
- Help work on technical documentations during the project, including project implementation documents as well as operational documents
- Work closely with the eventual Operations Manager to operationalise and optimise the infrastructure operations within the project
- Suggest and continuously improve the operations using a mix of automation scripts and other tools to increase operational efficiency
- Mentor, train up and empower new infrastructure operations personnel to eventually take over the infrastructure operations of the project
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent
- At least five years of experience in working in an infrastructure operations role
- Strong knowledge of technologies such as networking, virtualisation, Active Directory and Red Hat Linux
- Able to develop PowerShell and bash scripts
- Implementation experience is advantageous but not necessary
- Able to work in a highly regulated environment and to make adjustment to meet project deadlines
- Good communication / stakeholder skills and emotional intelligence to influence key decisions, mediate conflicts and build consensus;
