Our core business is content, which is distributed across multiple channels, from a monthly magazine to our website, social media channels and also experiences and events.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced journalist to take on the role of either Senior Writer or Associate Editor with Tatler Homes Singapore.

The journalist should be comfortable producing work for digital media, print publications and social media. They should LOVE interiors and architecture and have a great eye for design and designers. They should also be excited to not just write and edit but also film, produce and style. They should also be aware that the role requires networking with the design community and even hosting events.

CORE

Help with content production for Tatler Homes Singapore, focusing on both digital content (strong SEOdriven stories as well as evergreen features), the print magazine, and social media.
Identify news and trends in the home, design and property categories, as well as notable thought leaders tackling gender inequality
Cultivate and maintain relationships with category leaders, influencers and top clients in Singapore's (and Asia's) design industry
Help elevate the Tatler Homes brand in Singapore and reinforce the brand's expansion in the region Assist in providing ideas to commercial pitches where required whilst maintaining the priority of editorial integrity at all times

DIGITAL

Produce timely homes, design, and property stories, publishing 8 stories a week (original, syndicated and repurposed pieces)
Work closely with the local digital team and other Tatler Homes editors in Asia to maximise content synergy and ensure digital goals are met
Help to produce the Tatler Homes monthly newsletter
Contribute ideas and input to the regional franchises/series of Tatler Homes, including the Tatler Homes Design Awards

**PRINT

Working with the Tatler Homes Singaore editor to contribute to and edit articles for Tatler Homes Singapore's print issues Help procure homes stories and interviews to feature within Tatler Homes Singapore, with potential for it to be included in the regional story pool to be shared with other regions (Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines and Taiwan)

EVENTS

Work with the events and commercial teams on initiatives where editorial input is needed Be the ambassador of Tatler Homes at all relevant events

Requirements:

Minimum 35 years working experience in homes design, writing and/or editing content akin to Tatler's Homes content verticals
Strong writing skills and editing skills
Good grasp of Tatler's audience and keen interest in multiple content verticals
Good people skills, able to work with colleagues and clients
Good grasp of digital and social media
