Main tasks, responsibility, and authority

  • The position is responsible for all processes including market analysis, budgeting, marketing, request handling with associated RFQ from customers for upgrade and refit of existing fire detection systems, gas detection systems.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets for each month.
  • Follow up of Purchase orders from the customer.
  • Delivery, and sales receipt of order/contracts and handover of sales documentation to the project department or service department.
  • The sales manager is also responsible for coordinating and reporting additional orders.
  • The position is directly responsible for taking the initiative to coordinate any sales activities in the marked.
  • Implement the Autronica Fire & Security strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure it's strong presence.
  • Build and promote strong, longlasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Registration of customer quotes, meetings, customer related info in Salesforce.
  • Authority is exercised according to the Autronica Fire & Security Authorization level.
  • Ensure that the quoted system is in accordance with the Autronica Fire & Security Marine strategy for the area.

Concrete Sales Manager goals

  • Meet or exceed the sales budget for the area.
  • Meet or exceed that contribution targets.
  • Cost budget.
  • Marked and action plan for the area.
  • Monthly reporting of sales, threats/opportunities.
  • Sales and contribution analyses.
  • Marketing plan for quarterly planning.

Environment, health and safety management requirements

  • Ensure that all work carried out by team members do not cause any harm to people or environment.
  • Ensure that all team members understand Autronica EHS Policies, Standards and Cardinal Rules and that Job Safety Analyses are carried out prior to execution of safety critical tasks.
  • Immediately report any incidents or nearmisses to Area Manager and EHS Manager.

Quality management requirements

  • Standards.
  • Ensure that Autronica Standards and Maritime Division Standard Work Procedures are followed.
  • Immediately report any Quality deviations to Area Project Manager and Quality Manager.

Competence requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area manager or similar senior sales role. Consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
  • Familiarity with CRM software, Sales force, ERP system JD.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a problemsolving attitude.
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • 5 years' experience in sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
