About the Job

You will be the data lead on a team of software engineers developing a new design and test product, including electronic simulation and test, using a model-based engineering approach.

This digital twin, which aims to utilize data to streamline and to improve collaboration, information access and decision making, will help Keysight customers reduce time-to-market for their critical aerospace/defense and communications systems.

You will work closely with Product Planners/Owners and Marketing, Sales, and customers using our product life cycle to create a data architecture for managing multiple projects, requirements, and millions of test results.

You will be a hands-on contributor to the database construction and data analysis.

About the Team

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the data architecture and implementation.
Collaborate with multifunctional product development teams across divisions to define data strategy, roadmap, and technology.
Propose data model and strategy to further enhance and optimize software performance.
Research, design and implement solutions which contribute to the design and test product mentioned above.

Job Qualifications:

The essential requirements of the job include:

BS, or MS in CS, EE, or equivalent
5yrs of experience in databases and data science
Experience with noSQL (preferably Mongo and Parquet) and relational (preferably Postgres) databases in a production environment
Experience designing products for both SaaS and onprem deployment
Understanding of datamesh and datamodeling techniques
In depth knowledge of modeling/architectural patterns, governance methodologies, and potential limitations within MongoDB
Coordination with teams across Europe and the US.
Prior experience in software development in Python/C# or any Object Oriented Programming language
