Description

The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure for a digital bank.

This role requires expertise in cloud computing, hardware/data centre management, vendor management and a strong understanding of the unique requirements of a digital banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Design and Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and plan the digital bank's IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Cloud Computing: Manage the bank's cloud infrastructure, including the selection, deployment, and optimization of cloud services to support the bank's digital services.
Hardware and

Data Centre Management:
Oversee the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware components, including networking and security equipment.

Infrastructure Management: Manage the bank's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Capacity Planning: Monitor and analyse infrastructure performance and capacity, identifying potential bottlenecks and planning for future growth and scalability.
Security and Compliance: Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain robust security measures, including access controls, vulnerability management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 812 years' experience in IT infrastructure management, coming from the banking industry. (VP equivalent level in banking)
Certification and handson experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure or GCP), DevSecOps and infrastructureascode.
Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and containers
Experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Experience in vendor management and service quality assurance.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Strong IT architecture design, communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
