Key Responsibilities:

System Design and Architecture:Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and design SCADA and PLC solutions.
Develop system architecture, including hardware and software components, network configuration, communication protocols, and data structures.
Select appropriate SCADA software platforms and PLC models based on project specifications.

Programming and Configuration:Develop PLC programs using ladder logic, structured text, or other programming languages as required by the project.
Configure SCADA software to create HMI (Human-Machine Interface) screens, alarms, data logging, and reporting functionalities.
Integrate PLCs and SCADA systems, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange between devices.

Installation and Commissioning:Oversee the installation of PLC hardware, SCADA servers, communication networks, sensors, actuators, and other components.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and adherence to project requirements.
Collaborate with field technicians and subcontractors during the commissioning phase.

Project Management:Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for SCADA and PLC integration projects.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.

Documentation and Training:Create detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, programming logic, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
Provide training to end-users and maintenance teams on how to operate and maintain the SCADA and PLC systems effectively.

Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in SCADA, PLC, and automation technologies.
Recommend and implement improvements to existing systems or processes to enhance efficiency, reliability, and functionality.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in programming PLCs using languages like ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
Experience with SCADA software platforms such as Wonderware, Ignition, FactoryTalk, or similar.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
Familiarity with electrical systems, instrumentation, and control devices.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and budgets.
Strong communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality solutions.
