Our client is a renowned and established investment management firm. It is a highly regarded name that is in the business of investing in PE.

Due to increased business needs, it is now expanding its legal team. It is seeking to hire an associate legal (2 to 3 years).

Reporting to the MD who is the Head of Legal and Compliance, you will work in a lean and collaborative team supporting its private equity investments.

Requirements:

Qualified as a lawyer in Singapore, Hong Kong, the UK or other commonwealth jurisdictions
Possess a good Law degree from a recognized university

Has 2 to 3 years of relevant legal experience:

Relevant PE funds structuring, fundraising and investments background will be a plus (not a must):
Regulatory and wealth management experience would be a plus (but not a must):
Open to strong legal cands from private practice who is keen to move into an in house legal role:
Has strong technical skills backed by a commercial and pragmatic mindset. Need to demonstrate the ability to think innovatively
Proactive and innovative
Handson team player with strong people and stakeholder management skills. Also meticulous, detailed, and resultsoriented.
A demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure on complex legal and regulatory issues
Able to thrive in a fastpaced, growing, and lean/teambased culture
