Take a trip down memory lane.

During our years as students, we have all had our fair share of dealing with tough English questions. It may have been a vocabulary MCQ or a Comprehension Cloze passage that was especially confusing.


Whenever you got stuck, what did you do? Most of us would likely have gone in search of our parents with a quick, "Mummy, Daddy, I don't know how to do this.

"

But were they actually able to help?

Maybe they were too tied up with work.


Or perhaps they were also unsure and instead told you to "ask your teacher tomorrow" or to check with your older siblings.

Being bounced from person to person is not fun. Time was wasted and by the end of it, we were just left with frustration and questions undone.

And this is the problem we want to solve.


As our English Homework Helper, you will be tasked with assisting these young learners with quick queries such as explaining grammatical errors or brainstorming for story ideas.

Marking and Queries:
You will be given the company work phone (WiFi-only). All queries should be
settled on the same day or within 24 hours.

Examples of queries...

  • I'm not sure what story to write for my composition.
  • I need help with this synthesis and transformation question
From time to time, there will also be light marking to do (soft copy only) e.g. Grammar MCQ, Editing passages. Training will be provided.

Commitment:

  • 12 hours per day, 7 days a week
  • Monthly salary is fixed at SGD$300.
  • This position is 100% WFH [
    Singaporeonly]

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in the English language, especially in writing and grammar.
  • Minimum 'A1' for English Olevels or General Paper.
  • Willingness to be trained
  • Hardworking, responsible, and positive
  • Extremely meticulous
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Google Docs, Google Drive,
- _Customer-service experience is a bonus._

If shortlisted, you will have to go through an English proficiency test.
