TUMCREATE is a multidisciplinary research platform of the Technical University Munich (TUM) at the Singapore Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE).

We are joining forces with universities, public agencies, and industry for the advancement of future technologies.

Our large-scale Food Science 'Proteins4Singapore' program is funded by Singapore's National Research Foundation (NRF).

The Technical University Munich (TUM) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) join forces with the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and A*STAR's Singapore Institute of Food and Biotechnology Innovation (SIFBI) to research plant-based proteins.


Job Title/Position:

Research Fellow/Postdoctoral Fellow (Foodomics)


Job Purpose/Objective of the Position:


Responsibilities:


  • Extraction food materials
  • Develop methods to comprehensive analysis of the components in plantbased food materials, including, phenolic compounds, oligosaccharides, lipids.
  • Preparation of research reports, presentations and publications in English.
  • Supervision of undergraduate students.

Job Requirements/Competencies:


  • PhD degree or equivalent in Analytical Chemistry
  • Expert in NMR and/or LCMS
  • A strong record of peerreviewed publications is necessary
  • At least 1 year of experience in metabolomics with knowledge of common bioinformatic and
- biostatistical analysis tools

  • Good communication skills and fast learner
  • Selfmotivated to drive the project and can work independently
  • Able to develop new research program.
