Job Purpose
The role is is responsible in managing the fixed income investment and trading portfolios of the Branch.


Responsibilities

  • Trade fixed income products according to the Bank's investment strategy
  • Manage the credit risk and duration profile of the investment portfolio
  • Perform indepth credit analysis of fixed income securities, including related industry, market and economic studies to identify trading/investment strategies in investment grade bond market
  • Generate periodic management reports on the performance and risk profile of the fixed income portfolio
  • Generate trade and deal ideas by leveraging on market knowledge, technology and analytics
  • Build and manage relationships with counterparties for best coverage and trade execution, and to support the Bank's access to liquidity and investment opportunities
  • Guide team members and team work
  • Ensure compliance with risk limits, investment guidelines and regulations
  • Perform additional responsibilities and undertake special projects as assigned

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years' related working experience within the Banking industry, Global Market space (Trading
  • Fixed Income)
  • In depth product knowledge
  • Coaching junior team members with guidance, instruction, mentorship and planning
  • Possess teamwork skills like listening, communication and conflict management
  • Proficient in spoken and written in English/Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking headquarter counterparties
