Aarthi Sathis Kumar

My name is Aarthi Sathis Kumar. I am a fresh graduate from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (GPA 3.64/4, High Distinction & Latin Honours). I am deeply interested in clinical psychology and hope to gain more experience in the field. 

My work and volunteer experiences at Kumon Singapore and Beyond Social Services respectively have opened my eyes to the world of early childhood education and piqued my interest in working with children and aiding their developmental processes. These experiences have made me realize that I am drawn to the fields of clinical and educational psychology. Admittedly, as a fresh graduate, I, unfortunately, have not had the privilege of building up a particularly illustrious resume of work experience. However, what I lack in experience, I make up for in gumption, enthusiasm, passion, tenacity, and a willingness to learn. 

As a fresh graduate from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, I have completed my curriculum earning a High Distinction with Latin Honours (Magna Cum Laude) and have completed various academic coursework in Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Psychological Statistics, Social Psychology, etc. with an A grade in each.
