A highly motivated and competent Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor with over 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry. Has the ability to lead by example and coach junior multinational member of the rope access team. Involved in Rigging duties and willing to work internationally, having no issues with being away from home for extended periods of time. Always keen to learn new skills and keep current skills up to date to aid for both professional and personal development. Holds many vocational qualifications including IRATA Rope Access Level 3, OPITO BOSIET, 3G/4G SMAW Welding. Always carries forward Think Safety attitude, analyzing risk and practicing observation and respectful intervention. Currently seeks new international/local opportunities and experience as a Technician/ Mechanic.
Experience
Installation and Commissioning – Mostly served onshore based in South Korea or China. After oil-rig structure stack-up on Drillships/platforms, my team and I, accompanying with multiple NOV engineers, are responsible in alignment works, completion of drilling equipment installation, ensure all equipment are running as specification and to assist NOV mechanics/electrician with work at heights where accessible only by Rope Access techniques.
Modification work on mostly platforms according to drawings provided by Engineers and to assist in installing Alimak personal elevator on the rig. Provide Drop survey and Drops installation works.
Equipment involved are;
Top Drives, HydraRacker, Dead line Compensator, CMC and AHC, Hoisting cylinders, Fingerboards, BOP/Riser Gantry Cranes, Drawworks, Winches & Sheaves, Cluster sheaves, Catwalks, Riser Tensioners, Knuckle Boom Cranes, etc.

1996 – 2001 Marsiling Primary School - Highest qualification PSLE
2002 – 2005 Marsiling Secondary School - Highest qualification GCE ‘N’ Level

Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) And Travel Safety by Boat (OPITO Approved) (valid till 15 Aug 2023)
