Ariel Tan

As a market access senior analyst, our main goal is to help improve patient access to novel healthcare innovation to improve their quality of life. I have ~1.5 years experience in healthcare market access consulting and have worked across a range of therapeutic areas including oncology, mood disorders, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. I have also worked in product-agnostic projects to evaluate the access potential of fixed-dose combination drugs and companion diagnostics, as well as private market funding opportunity in emerging markets.

My experience at PRMA Consulting Ltd. as a Senior Market Access Analyst has equipped me with valuable experience in market research, strategy development, and project management. I have developed a keen understanding of the healthcare regulatory and reimbursement landscape in the APAC region, and a strong track record of managing projects to completion on time and within budget. Additionally, my experience in conducting primary and secondary research has honed my analytical skills and my attention to detail. 

In my role as Project Coordinator at Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp, I was responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Global IT Project Management Community of Practice. This role has given me the opportunity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, engage with senior management, and build my skills in communication and people management.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree (Highest Distinction) in Bioengineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
