UNITED ARAB SHIPPING COMPANY (S.A.G) - ASSISTANT MANAGER PRICING AND YIELD , Singapore 1) Ensure that the company gains the maximum benefit from its vessel assets operating in the Asia Europe Trade via prudent tactical planning 2) Act as the liaison for the Trade across the relevant operation and planning teams with the aim of furthering Trade goals. June 2012 - June 2014 NYK GROUP SOUTH ASIA PTE LTD - SENIOR ANALYST, GLOBAL NETWORK PLANNING , Singapore 1) Designed and developed suitable port rotation and schedule for vessel fleet. These helped to achieve more effective vessel operations and in turn higher operational cost savings 2) Collaboration with other carriers or consortium to ensure that joint service agreements were adhered to and well maintained, for Oceania, and Intra Asia trade services. 3) Provide accurate analysis for deploying right capacity sized vessels for the network, thereby averting wastage, and contained costs 4) Negotiation with partners on operational and reconciled settlement issues on day-to-day basis and maintain good partnership relationship. 5) Conduct feasibility studies for new and existing services within the company's network. 6) Positive impacts from these studies include achieving better bottom line for the company and better cost savings for vessel operations 7) Delivered accurate costing reports, highlight variances, alteration of present non profitable services and implementing corrective measures to improve cost and bottom line through down/upsize of vessels, forming alliances with other carriers, changing service port rotations, purchasing vessel space from partners or terminating nonprofit making services. 

May 2001 - May 2012 APL CO PTE LTD - SPECIALIST – FEEDER OPERATIONS PLANNING , Singapore FEEDER PLANNING / PROCUREMENT 1) Ensure that slot exchange agreements were adhered to and well maintained Designed and developed suitable port rotation and schedule for vessel fleet. These helped to achieve more effective vessel operations and in turn higher operational cost savings 2) Monitored equal contribution of sailing frequency and vessel allocation, routing and timing in accordance with mutually agreed schedules. This resulted in good management of collaborations for both parties. 3) Feasibility studies in areas of opportunities of co-operation 4) Management of vessel slot costing 5) Ensured vessels adhere to planned routes and schedules through effective communication with fleet control and stakeholders, which reduced last minute operational hiccups. 6) Identified and evaluated effectiveness between utilization of APL vessels and Partners services, allowing immediate rectification when planned targets are not met. 7) Attained better cost rates through negotiation with partners 8) Reconciled financial and operational issues with partners 9) Successful rollout of contingency plans (replace vessels, port omission, change port rotation) to counter service failures such as vessel delays/engine breakdown, port strikes, or bad weather to minimize costs incurred, on a day-to day basis.
