Hi there! I am Cherrie, a soon-to-be newly qualified lawyer in Singapore. With a strong foundation in law from the University of Birmingham and practical experience from various internships and trainee positions, I bring a detail-oriented and client-focused approach to my legal practice. My professional journey includes significant roles at esteemed firms such as Silvester Legal LLC, Chung Ting Fai & Co., and Baker McKenzie. Wong & Leow, where I honed my skills in legal research, drafting, and client relations.

I am proficient in multiple languages, including English, Mandarin, Hokkien, and French. My background also includes a Diploma in Chinese Media & Communication and a Diploma-Plus in French from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, baking, cooking, and playing badminton.

My journey has also included entrepreneurial ventures, such as managing a beauty business, which enhanced my leadership and business acumen. As I prepare to join the legal profession officially, I am eager to bring my comprehensive skills and dedication to delivering impactful results in every case I handle.

I have garnered extensive experience in the legal field through various roles, starting as a Practice Trainee at Silvester Legal LLC, where I conducted comprehensive legal research, drafted essential documents, participated in client meetings and court hearings, and formulated defense strategies. My role as a Cabin Crew at Singapore Airlines enhanced my customer service and compliance skills, while managing my own beauty business, My Endless Beauty, honed my leadership and business acumen. Additionally, my internships at Chung Ting Fai & Co., Baker McKenzie. Wong & Leow, and British Petroleum provided me with a solid foundation in legal research, drafting, client relations, and understanding of industry-specific legal issues.

I hold a Bachelor of Laws with Honours (Class II Division I) from the University of Birmingham, where I developed a strong foundation in legal principles and practices. In addition to my degree, I completed the Part A and Part B Bar Examinations through the Singapore Institute of Legal Education (SILE), which equipped me with essential skills and knowledge for legal practice in Singapore. My education also includes a Diploma in Chinese Media & Communication and a Diploma-Plus in French from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, further enhancing my communication abilities and cultural proficiency.
