Hello there, 

I am Crystal Wu Xiangmei, currently taking my Accelerated Bachelor of Social Work in Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). I will be completing my studies this coming end may'23. 

I am very passionate to work with this population, hope there will be an opportunity for me to come onboard as a Correctional Rehabilitation Specialist- Singapore Prison Service (SPS)

Casework and Counselling

• Accompany 3 different case workers for case work counselling sessions
• De-briefing and write case notes after every case session
• Conduct 2 case work sessions with supervisor present
• Read and understand programme's suitability and discharge reports
• Sit in for case conferences and group supervision meetings
• Explore and discuss with supervisor -personal values, tendencies and prejudices that will affect the social work practice

Groupwork/Programme

• Observe 2 in-care programme sessions at Cluster B4 and B5 -SSTP [Social Skills Training Programme]
• Observe 3 family group sessions -FRP [Family Reintegration Programme]
• Co-facilitate a portion of 1 FRP session with support from supervisor and agency colleague
